For the topic defense I looked into the foundations of tribal art and symbolism. Looking deeply into Gond Indian art. In particularly at Bhajju Shyam. How he naively transforms his visual journeys into western culture into flat detailed images.
So I looked to take away from him a process of transforming ideas and feelings into my images. This is how I initially worked on this project and acceptingly failed. (Images to be included soon). On recognition I had to start again and see how this work as a group could gel. So we agreed on taking a heavy influence and ethos of work production. Which is how the work developed complying to a strong line of production.
